The staff were attentive and courteous, creating a dining experience that felt both comfortable and enjoyable. What stood out most was the commitment to excellence shown by both locations. CareNow Urgent Care - Lakewood provides dependable healthcare services, while Emilio's Mexican Kitchen delivers outstanding food and hospitality. Together, they made for a truly satisfying day.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at CareNow Lakewood in Dallas was one of the most frustrating medical experiences I’ve had in years. I paid $180 for an appointment and left feeling completely dismissed. I went in for a recurring condition I have successfully managed for over 12 years. I clearly explained my medical history, what treatments have worked in the past, and the urgency of the situation. Instead of listening, the Physician Assistant ignored my input and prescribed medication that was ineffective and inappropriate for my condition. I am 62 years old and I understand my body, my health history, and the treatments that have consistently worked for me. The provider’s attitude came across as dismissive, rushed, and unwilling to consider patient experience or history. Less than 24 hours later, my condition significantly worsened, and now I am forced to seek treatment elsewhere and pay another clinic to receive proper care. What exactly did my $180 pay for? It certainly was not competent medical attention. Patients deserve providers who listen, think critically, and understand that long-term patients often know when something is wrong. Instead, this felt like assembly-line medicine focused on pushing patients through as quickly as possible. I would strongly encourage others to think twice before trusting this location with anything beyond the most basic care.

The staff was very friendly, professional and proficient from beginning to end. Sometimes you can go to a clinic or urgent care center and feel as if you are inconveniencing them but that was not the case here. Kennedy and Brandy made me feel way less anxious during my visit! Thank you all!!

The check in was very efficient and I didn’t have to wait too long to see a doctor. The doctor was very caring and followed up on all my issues including calling my previous doctor in another state to obtain some details that were needed to ensure my treatment was appropriate for my condition. I really appreciated the care and the follow up. I was also given referrals to a PCP and specialist as I’m new to the city. Thank you!!

Best experience EVER!!! Alexis started this phenomenal experience when I called asking clarifying questions before my visit to ensure I was prepared. She was so kind, patient, and knowledgeable. After arriving she was quick and diligent with checking me in, ensuring I received everything I needed (and made me laugh). When I went to the back, I met Brandy. She was also extremely kind and patient. I have never had an experience like this at an urgent care so I truly felt it was a luxury experience. She explained each step thoroughly and quick to make sure I didn’t have to repeat any steps or the whole process again. I was in and out; left with a huge smile! They will 100% be my go to facility for any further employment/ school needs.
