I am so relieved I found this after-hours clinic! I had a sudden medical issue pop up late in the evening after work and was worried I’d have to spend the entire night at a crowded ER. I walked right into the Urgent Care of Texas in Oak Lawn and was seen incredibly fast. The front desk staff was welcoming, and the medical team was compassionate and thorough despite it being late in the day. It is a huge peace of mind having such a reliable walk-in clinic open late in our neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Great experience at Urgent Care of Texas Oak Lawn for IV therapy. It’s a very convenient after-hours clinic near Highland Park, especially if you need quick care late in the day. The location is easy to find around the Cedar Springs / Oak Lawn area, close to the Dallas North Tollway and near Uptown, with smooth access if you’re coming from Highland Park. Parking and access were hassle-free. Staff was friendly and efficient, and the IV therapy was done professionally I felt rehydrated and refreshed right away. Clean, modern clinic with fast service. Highly recommend for anyone in Highland Park or nearby areas looking for reliable IV hydration therapy.

You literally cannot make this up. I went in for an issue with my right eye. It was the clinic’s opening day, so sure, I expected a few hiccups. What I did not expect was a full-blown comedy of errors. I arrived around 9 PM and was the only patient there, yet it still took forever to be seen. Staff were hanging out in various exam rooms doing… something. No idea what. When I finally got called back, the scope to look in my eye had dead batteries. The doctor ended up using his cell phone flashlight. Not exactly confidence-inspiring. They told me they were sending in three prescriptions to a nearby pharmacy that was still open. Reasonable person that I am, I assumed that would be the end of my night. Incorrect. I get to the pharmacy and they only have two prescriptions. One of them is an antibiotic… for ears. The only reason this got caught is because I mentioned the missing eye wash, and the pharmacist very politely asked why I was treating my eyes with ear medication. I tried calling the clinic. No answer. I had to physically drive back. When I got there, they told me the clinic “normally closes at 9,” so the phones don’t work after that time. (Yes, really.) They finally sent the correct eye medication and the missing prescription. I go back to the pharmacy, pick everything up… and the instructions say to put the drops in the wrong eye. At that point I was apparently the most qualified person in this entire process because I do, in fact, know my right from my left. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.
