Here rn and I’ve been here over an hour and all I hear is them gossiping and laughing in the room behind the front desk. I’ve been in uncomfortable pain and made it clear when I checked in but to hear about 3-5 people in that back room and they haven’t take anyone else in this waiting room is beyond me. I came here because I saw the good reviews on how people were here for very long but here I am with all these other people just waiting. Someone else said they had been waiting 2 hours and finally got called back which was about 30 mins ago. Never coming here again. Don’t come here if you need URGENT CARE. Come here if you need care but it can wait a few hours cause you won’t be seen

So so disappointed. I am a Nurse 40+ years I have had prior excellent care here But NOT today!!! I saw a PA today that I have never seen before all I can say is if your sick GOD SPEED because you will not find quality care with this PA at East Beach Urgent Care. Also, the exam room was not cleaned the paper on the exam table was wrinkled and dirty from the patient before me.....East Beach what happened to the quality care you use to provide?😢

Absolutely unacceptable. This place advertises walk-ins and clearly states they’re open Monday- Saturday 7:00am- 7:00 PM, yet I was turned away at 6:25 PM because they had “stopped taking patients.” That’s not being open until 7… that’s misleading people. If you’re cutting off patients early, then say that. Don’t lure people in with false hours. From the looks of it... they were trying to clean and close everything down by 7pm. That isn't what "open till" means!!! It gets worse. I was also denied care entirely because my issue was related to an accident. Nowhere on their website, signage, or ANY public information does it say they won’t see accident-related cases. That’s a pretty major “rule” to just casually drop on someone who is standing there needing medical attention. So let’s be clear… hidden policies + inconsistent hours + turning people away = completely unprofessional and unethical. Urgent care is supposed to be accessible. It’s supposed to be transparent. This was neither. This was a waste of time, dismissive, and frankly reckless when you’re dealing with people’s health. If you have restrictions, OWN them. Put them on your website! Update it on google! Put them on your door! Train your staff to communicate them properly. Don’t blindside patients when they show up expecting care. DO BETTER!!!

After years of being clients at East Beach for various ailments across our family, after our last experience 5/6/26, we will not be returning. I brought my 22 yo son in to be seen for strep throat symptoms. The rapid swab was negative so another swab was done to be sent off for culture. We were called back into the office the following day to “re-swab” my son due to the “wrong swab being used” to take the culture. No problem, mistakes happen. We returned the next day and a much older woman, who seemed to be completely flustered and overwhelmed, swabbed my son’s throat. The way that this was done, is what really shocked me. She asked my son to stick out his tongue and when he didn’t do it properly right away, she shoved the swab down his throat hurting him and gagg in g him while holding his nose closed with her fingers. It all happened to fast it took us a minute to even register what happened and of course my son was quiet, hurting, holding back tears. My son would have cooperated if she had even given him a chance to and had been professional. The kicker? I received ANOTHER call the next day explaining that the culture wasn’t good and we were asked to return again for another swab. I explained that my sons throat was literally assaulted and we would be going elsewhere. I never like to leave negative reviews, but this was so bizarre. And nobody should be treated this way.

I had been sick with heavy chest congestion, cough and low grade fever for 10 days. At the urging of family I finally decided to go to East Beach Urgent Care. Upon check in I was told that it was at least a 3 hour wait. I could wait in my car or go home (I live very close) and they would call me when it was my turn. I told the receptionist that I would wait at home. She said once we call, you have 10 minutes to return. After a few hours I received a call saying they had a room ready for me. I told her I would be there in 7 minutes, she said that was fine. I made it back in 6 minutes, where I was told to have a seat. I then waited another 45 minutes before being called to the back. After my vitals and history were taken I waited a few more minutes and the provider came in. She listened to my chest, checked my ears and throat, asked a few questions and said my lungs were clear and I should increase my fluids and perhaps try some honey. And since they didn't have x-rays available that day that it might be a good idea to come back tomorrow for a chest x-ray or go somewhere else for one. No diagnosis, nothing for my cough, or anything to relieve the chest congestion. Just walked out. I used to enjoy having East Beach Urgent Care so close by, but the quality of care definitely feels like it's slipping. An $80 copay to have someone tell me to try some honey and drink water, like that's the best they had to offer? I went to Patient First 2 days later and after listening to my lungs the Doctor said you definitely have Pneumonia, which was confirmed with an x-ray. I left with 2 antibiotics and cough meds. I wont be using East Beach Urgent Care again. *I only waited 30 minutes at Patient First to be seen too!
