Great facility. Everyone here is so nice. Melvin took me in immediately and was super professional. Ben took my vitals and was very friendly and vibing to jazz. Bella got me back in to see the Dr and checked my weight and history with a huge smile. Kimberly Dodd and her student Katie were extremely professional and excited to get into the practice as a permanent patient. Love IT

I have been with First Colonial Family Practice a long time. My doctor for the most part was Dr Bradley Tennant. He is awesome, knowledgeable and very friendly. I always left knowing that we had had a good meeting discussing my health. He always gave me great suggestions on how to improve my health. Recently I have met with the PA there Nicholas Peters I think is his name... he is very thorough,very accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. In summary from the people who check me in and take my vitals to the next step it is a good experience.

Avoid Nicole at all costs. This location needs another person to speak about billing issues and/or a COMPLETE RETRAIN. Because as I do my research this isn’t the first time time this has happened. It’s one thing if it was a business but this is MEDICAL. Fraudulently AND retroactively weeks after an appointment charging patients for “issues” and hoping you can force them or confuse them enough to not advocate for themselves then throwing their license at them telling them “you can leave” after only being very cordial and calm with her. Then to be said “you can if you have an attitude” essentially gaslighting the patient. This woman lacks basic empathy and respect let alone common decency. Ethical behavior is essential if you want to work in the medical field anywhere from basic reception to surgical professional. Get it together Nicole. Mental health is important and what Nicole did was harassment and degradation of basic rights when seeking healthcare. She should be ashamed. How callous she was shows she has no regard for anyone and the fact she threw a license at a patient that was attempting to amicably understand a mistake on that the office made, is UNACCEPTABLE. * If higher management sees this for the sake of your day to day. Either retrain or terminate this employee. *

Being new to Virginia Beach had to find a doctor. They are amazing. Great communication. They offer same day appointments. So many doctors to choose from. I had an awesome appointment with Alvarado. She is great! Update: I got into a full permanent doctor. Woodard. He is beyond great. I also super like Dr. Mccloskey she didn’t have any new patient slots but she will see you as a fill in. Absolutely amazing. I really like her, she will like me schedule for womens health if you don’t really like n for those things. I just have to say I truly like the front check in to the end. Seven is a phlebotomist there. After all my scar tissue and collapsed veins she managed 1 go at it. I appreciate the way they handle all

Wonderful staff. Dr. Dodd took her time and really gave her full attention to address all my needs. She is thorough and made me feel very comfortable. Great care!
