One of the worst experiences ever. I had to go to urgent care because I had an open wound that was actively bleeding, and I had to drive myself to Kaiser, whose parking garage is completely on the opposite side of the building from urgent care. When I got there, I was in a panic trying to find my way through the maze of hallways and was asking employees to point me in the direction of urgent care. All of the employees I encountered in the hallways barely spoke English. I finally managed to get to urgent care, still actively bleeding and holding a wad of bloody towels on my abdomen. The security guard at the entrance to urgent care stopped me and said he had to go through my bag. I was like, really, and I told him I was bleeding, which was pretty obvious. He finally let me through. Then I had to deal with the young, rude staff at the desk who made me fill out paperwork. I was really upset with them because I was bleeding and they already had my insurance card. While waiting to be seen, I had to change my makeshift bandage, and as I did, the kids behind the desk barked at me to put on a mask. I told them I was changing my bandage, but they just repeated themselves. Finally, someone came out to take me to my room. As I was walking down the hallway, I saw a young female nurse or doctor doing a booty shake in front of a male doctor or nurse; it was highly unprofessional. Then I was taken to a room that was clearly already used, with a bunch of dirt on the floor. I guess the young staff didn't want to clean another room, even though they had multiple unused and clean rooms. The only positive aspect was that the male, older doctor was very kind and professional.

This location is genuinely the best healthcare experience I've ever had. Super kind nurses and doctors who see you as a person and not a checkbox, who take the time to listen and work with you. Sure the wait is long sometimes, but that is the nature of healthcare! They've always gotten me back in a reasonable time based on the number of people also waiting, and they always work hard to get to the bottom of things!

Was transferred here from another ER to address an urgent airway/throat issue that caused my throat to close up at 4AM. The ENT docs, nurses, and medical professionals were all super understanding, patient, and caring. My only complaint is this; Aaron Lee (I believe that’s the name) was quite offish and rude during check in. I explained that I was being transferred from another ER, that they were expecting me (they were). I showed him the transfer paperwork, but he didn’t even bother to skim over it and essentially said “having transfer paperwork doesn’t change the workflow of an ER”. Very condescending, and also incorrect lol. Still leaving 5 stars, but definitely going to go out on a limb and say being abrasive at the front desk of an urgent care facility should prompt you and your employer to change your career. Just food for thought. Great experience otherwise though!

I checked myself into urgent care due to complications with my type-2 diabetes. They got me checked in and I was called back before I was done even signing everything so no wait. The nurse who took my vitals also took my blood with skill and ease and was, like the X-ray gentleman and EKG nurse both patient and kind. Dr. Batista was very nice and knowledgeable. They got an IV in and I was on my way, fully-hydrated and with half the blood sugar in a couple hours. It was a pleasant, unconventional visit to a medical facility that is rarely the norm. I absolutely recommend this Kaiser Permanente!

I highly recommend KP Urgent care. At first I was bummed I had to drive into downtown, when there is an urgent care in my neighborhood. After being a patient at both, I’ll happily drive to this location. The nursing staff was great and checked in on me often. The doctor had good bedside manner and even tucked me into warm blankets. I was brought back immediately, but was there for a while because they gave me palliative care while waiting for all the test results. I left feeling much better. My only complaint is the parking garage is far away, so recommend getting dropped off if you don’t/can’t walk there. Good news is the pharmacy is right above the parking garage, so convenient when you leave.
