This was the best urgent care experience we’ve had! (This was specifically for the Orthopedics department) You make an appointment online. Check in once you get there and there is no wait! The medical assistant and nurse practitioner were very friendly and helpful. We got to take pics of the x-rays and he explained everything thoroughly! We hope to not need them again, but would definitely go if needed! 😉

DELIBERATE MISBRANDING AS URGENT CARE. They advertise as an urgent care center, but they will charge you emergency care rates. According to them they cannot bill as urgent care as they “operate from a hospital premise” and are not “standalone” urgent care. Why would they call themselves urgent care but then bill for hospital outpatient rates. My child’s xray was charged as a “outpatient procedure”, which means insurance now treats it same as any outpatient operation. To quote from their billing department “our clinics are formally licensed as Outpatient Hospital Departments. Because of that designation, we are legally required to bill visits under the outpatient hospital category. This isn't something we're able to change at the clinic or billing level.” SAVE YOUR MONEY. AVOID THIS PLACE. Read other similar experiences.

We got excellent care for my daughter. Very attentive, great communication, kind and compassionate staff, nurses, and doctors. They went out of the their way to help us late at night even as they were closing.

I hate to write this because the providers we saw were excellent. Children's chooses to bill urgent care visits as outpatient hospitalizations, which is conveniently a much larger bill. This facility is advertised as an urgent care. However, when it comes to billing, Children's will tell you that it is considered part of the hospital, and billed accordingly. Conveniently for Children's, you will be charged dramatically more than you expect (because the claim they submit to your insurance will be for outpatient hospitalization, not for urgent care). If you're trying to do the right thing, take care of your kid, and not waste ER resources, go somewhere else. They'll bill you as though you visited the ER anyway.

I was at a loss for helping my daughter's eczema. I got a treatment plan moving forward from the staff and I am confident moving forward in the health of her skin! I hope we don't have to visit again for it, but I know I can trust the advice given and I am so grateful! Thank you for your help, Seattle childrens. You guys are awesome everytime I have brought my kids in. THANK YOU!!
