Lashanna Love 5 months ago1/10/2026 Just had to file a grievance on the triage nurse. He attempted to take my blood pressure on my right arm as I had on an extremely thick winter coat. The sleeve was no less than 2in thick. I suggested the sleeve needed to be taken off and he said I should be “educated.” I asked why he felt the need to speak to me like that and he kept repeating it was a two way street and that he was trying to educate me. I asked to speak with a charge nurse and he said there wasn’t one. I asked again “why are you treating me like this” to which he dragged me backwards in the wheelchair out into the lobby. I put my right foot on the floor and asked him not to touch me. He then continued to pull me backwards while my foot skidded and made a sound from the rubber of my sole being dragged. He said there were sicker pts than me and dumped me in the waiting area. I sat there in shock. I couldn’t defend myself because I was holding a book bag and a crutch in one hand while sitting in a wheelchair unable to walk. I did not raise my voice, use foul language or threaten this man. I simply suggested that my coat should be taken off for a proper blood pressure reading. The minute I put my foot on the floor and asked him not to touch me that became assault. I did speak with a charge nurse in the lobby, she apologized but understandably was busy and asked if I still wanted to be seen. NO WAY was I going to allow anyone there to touch me. This was not a nurse having a bad day in a clinic. This was a nurse who knew he could get away with that sort of behavior. If I were the problem why didn’t he call security? Can you imagine if I was elderly or non English speaking? He has absolutely no business working as a nurse. Today 1/12 I phoned the clinic supervisor and he told me apologized but did not as for my information to follow up. I called Kaiser and filed a formal complaint.
Kenna Rose 5 months agoI went in for help & an assessment for my chronic illness & other chronic GI conditions I have that are very well established & in my chart. I was there for a total of 5 hrs, all of which was for the benefit of having 1 CT scan, & routine blood work. They seemed busy or something, because the doctor who was supposed to help was in a rush, literally had to leave in the middle of talking about important information, THEN, literally just told me "Stop smoking weed & take a couple tests, & you'll be just fine & the issues will be resolved".......she asked me if I find relief in taking a hot shower for my nausea due to heavy medications I have to take mind you, which I replied "Yes, that's pretty common with anybody that has pain or nausea, a source of heat is what helps with that"......THATS what she took just by itself, then told me to stop smoking weed because THE ONLY THING I said was that heat helps with my pain & nausea, then said "YEP THAT MEANS ITS WEED it's the ONLY reason why you'd have relief taking a hot shower"...... So I said "How are you gonna take a single statement that applies to most conditions that are painful, & intentionally only choose to apply it to the one thing you CAN, to get me out of here? I had SURGERY for other pain I had, & you're telling ME that WHOLE time it was really just the weed? I DID find that same relief, so I'm assuming anybody with pain relief by heat must be smoking weed secretly?" "Not everyone smokes so it doesn't necessarily apply to other conditions" mmmmmm okay, so how again are these 2 things strictly correlated with no other possible options you haven't even cared to look at? So I told her, "With all do respect, you have no idea what you're even talking about, & you're just providing 0 help in managing severe symptoms that have caused me to lose THIRTY POUNDS!!" & all I was told by her is, AGAIN, YES SHE REPEATED IT when I kept asking her to PLEASE help me relieve my condition symptoms----"Stop smoking weed that's a you issue"...... they're genuinely terrible here. The assistants/ CNAs are wonderful & very nice, that I'll make sure I point out!! The doctors arethe ones that take EVERYTHING at superficial face value, instead of caring about EACH individual patient & their medical history. For the love of GOD, if you have severe symptoms or need REAL help, DO NOT go here. I'm never going there again. I also had to message my doctor telling her what happened because she was the one who told me to go to urgent care in the 1st place, so even my OWN doctor thinks these doctors are the bottom of the barrel when it comes to individual patient care!
Alex Buchanan a year agoWe’ve been here multiple times, and it’s not the best urgent care in town. They stick to the basics, just following protocol. That said, it’s open 24/7 and a lot more affordable than Overlake ER.
Felicia Kopperdahl 4 months agoThis doesn’t even deserve a star. This has been the most complicated navigation just to be quickly seen. Kaiser offers telehealth appointments but no matter what, they still make you come in. No regard if you don’t have transportation, money or if you’re disabled. I have spent over 4 hours on the phone with Kaiser and already have been in the clinic for over an hour watching everyone come in and get called before me. I was told by the virtual care doctor to come in to the urgent care which is not urgent. My frustration really peaked when I asked the front desk where I’m at on the list or what the wait time is. They continued to cut me off and tell me there is no list, has also told me that I shouldn’t trust what the staff states at Kaiser. So be aware. This is the current care I have to subdue to because my jobs insurance is crap, only to be treated like crap because the common cold is going around. I don’t have that. I’m am beyond pissed off. Horrible service and customer service
Shae Kingsley 6 months agoI am NEVER going to Kaiser Urgent Care again. I went around 2:30 yesterday because I've been getting lightheaded since I hit my head falling from the hospital bed at a local ER. I guess I passed out in the waiting room. A medical assistant came out and rubbed my sternum so badly that it almost broke. I started screaming in pain. They rushed me to the back, and the MA was saying, "I know, I felt it pop. It's going to be okay." I couldn't breathe it hurt so bad. They got me into x-ray about an hour later (they took me from the room they put me in and parked me back in the lobby). Nothing was broken, but I was in such severe chest pain. They never even treated me for the reason I came in. When the doctor finally came in, she kept saying, "I hear you're here for chest pain?" I kept trying to explain that my chest felt fine until the MA popped it. They put on a lidocaine patch, and I got home around 8 that night. This is the 5th, and I'm still in excruciating agony.
